
MEET THE CLINICIANS

Amy Sloper, LPC
Is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working with people in mental health, schools and social service settings for the past 20 years. After earning her Master’s degree in Counseling from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2005 she worked in community mental health providing home-based individual and family therapy with clients who were involved in the child welfare system. Following that Amy was employed for 5 years at the Providence St. Vincent’s Partial Hospital eating disorder program where she worked with people overcoming eating disorders. She moved with her family to the Rogue Valley 7 years ago. Since moving to this community, Amy worked at the non-profit Family Solutions as a supervisor and therapist. She most recently worked as a mental health therapist for 5 years at La Clinica’s School Based Health Center. There Amy worked with children, adolescents and their families helping them overcome a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, self-esteem and behavior problems.
Amy partners with her clients to help them cope with challenges, achieve their goals and find joy and meaning in their lives. She has particular interest in the areas of self-acceptance, body image, women’s issues and working with the LGBTQ community. Amy has experience with a variety of problems including stress, anxiety, depression, self-image, trauma and parenting concerns. She uses an eclectic approach in therapy including evidence-based treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Solution-Focused Treatment and Motivational Interviewing.
Kelli Bosak, LCSW
Is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience in direct practice rooted in a commitment to social justice, health equity, and direct service. After completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, Kelli built a foundation of clinical practice, supervisor and training experience, and administrative leadership in behavioral health and substance use treatment integration at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Chicago, IL. Kelli moved to the southern Oregon coast in the spring of 2020. In Oregon (as well as in Chicago), Kelli works as a Behavioral Health Consultant in primary care where she provides care for young adults, adults, and families experiencing a broad spectrum of symptoms and stressors that impact their health.
She is adept at helping clients to build skills and capacity to manage their lives and relationships through cognitive-behavioral techniques (such as CBT and DBT), mindfulness and acceptance based strategies (including ACT), motivational interviewing, brief solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based approaches. She is trained in trauma-focused therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and she integrates her training as a Certified Yoga Instructor as appropriate. She has particular interest in trauma, chronic disease management, stress reduction, co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders, group therapy, and the mind-body connection. Her clinical work and personal practices remind Kelli to approach her clients, relationships, and daily experiences with compassion, gratitude, care, and play.
