What is one-on-one counseling?
One-on-one counseling is where a therapist and client meet together for 45-60 minutes. Therapeutic sessions range from weekly to monthly depending on need. Clients learn techniques to reduce unwanted symptoms and develop personal resiliency and well-being. One-on-one sessions are offered in person or through telehealth.
What is couples counseling?
Couples counseling is where a couple meets with a therapist for 60 minutes. Sessions may range in frequency from weekly to monthly depending on need. Couples identify issues that are impacting the health of the relationship and the therapist provides tools to improve their functioning and well-being. Couples counseling is offered in person or through telehealth.
What is family therapy?
Family therapy is where family members and a therapist meet together for 60 minutes. These sessions may range in frequency from weekly to monthly care depending on what is necessary. Family members gain helpful tools and skills to improve the health of the family or process through a difficult time. Family therapy is offered in person or through telehealth.
What is Group Therapy?
Group therapy is where a group of community members (usually 5-10) meet together with a therapist. Groups typically meet once a week for 1 to 2 hours and offer social and emotional support or have a specific therapeutic focus. Groups are offered in person or through telehealth. Group therapy supports communication, skill building, and reduces isolation.
