  • Is approved by the Board of Social Workers of Oregon to practice psychotherapy as a Clinical Social Work Associate, CSWA. For over 10 years Krista has worked with women and children in settings including day shelters for unhoused individuals and children, transitional housing programs for parenting teens, youth outpatient care, community mental health and most recently integrated behavioral health in a community reproductive health clinic. Krista received her Master’s in clinical Social Work degree from Portland State University.  Grounded in social work values, Krista is passionate about women’s mental health topics and completed specialized advanced training in perinatal mental health.

    Krista incorporates evidence-based therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in identifying and challenging limiting beliefs or unhelpful patterns of thought or behavior that get in the way of living in alignment with one’s values and experiencing satisfaction and fulfillment. Krista also draws on feminist theory to illuminate the ways in which gendered socialization and cultural constructs can impact women’s daily lives and self-concept. Her approach is collaborative and honors her client’s innate wisdom and capacity for identifying solutions to presenting challenges.

    Particular areas of interest include motherhood and parenting topics, significant life changes, identity and role transitions, grief and loss, anxiety and mood disorders in pregnancy and postpartum, improving self-esteem and self-acceptance, and self-expression and communication development. 

  • Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been privileged to work in the fields of community health and mental health for over 25 years. She is co-founder, owner and a therapist at Bridges to Well-Being. Alicia strives to provide the most comprehensive client centered care by making deep and meaningful connections with each person she serves. Alicia’s primary interventions are EMDR, CBT, ACT and Solution Focused Therapy. Alicia focuses on caring for those impacted by trauma, grief, low self esteem/worth, body image issues, those impacted by medical conditions, people in life transitions, depression and anxiety. Alicia also supports couples who are experiencing relationship issues due to changes in family dynamics or roles, parenting differences or historic traumas in relationship. Alicia guides couples through conflict mediation and communication skill building with use of IFS and EMDR. Alicia uses trauma informed practices woven with empathy and humor. When Alicia isn’t working, you can find her enjoying time with her family, her multitude of pets and gardening on her homestead. Alicia is currently available for virtual visits.

  • Is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been working with people in mental health, schools and social service settings for the past 20 years. After earning her Master’s degree in Counseling from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2005, she has worked in community mental health, partial hospital treatment, school-based mental health programs and private practice. Amy transitioned into a Co-owner role at Bridges to Well-Being in 2024 in addition to maintaining her private practice with Bridges since it’s foundation.

    Amy works with her clients using a strengths-based and collaborative approach. She helps clients identify their goals, explore core experiences contributing to current challenges and work to heal, grow and thrive. She has particular interest in the areas of self-compassion, body image, women’s issues and working with the LGBTQ community. Amy has experience with a variety of life concerns including stress, anxiety, depression, self-image, trauma, disordered eating and parenting concerns. She uses an eclectic approach in therapy including evidence-based treatment such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectial Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing.

    Amy enjoys a limited private practice to ensure dedicated care to her clients, be able to serve as Co-owner of Bridges to Well-Being as well as maintain work/life balance. She has an office part-time in Medford and Ashland and can provide virtual telementalhealth.

    She enjoys spending time with her family and pets, exploring the outdoors and finding time to rest and play!

  • Chris is a Professional Counseling Associate. His approach to therapy is grounded in existential-integrative therapy, combining practical, solution-focused strategies with thoughtful exploration of life’s fundamental questions. He views the therapeutic process as a collaborative journey, where clients can explore meaning, authenticity, and personal growth while navigating life’s challenges. Chris helps clients connect to their values and make intentional choices that align with who they are.

    Chris holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Prescott College and brings experience from his prior career as a mountain guide. In that role, he developed skills in guiding people through both literal and metaphorical challenges, building trust, and fostering resilience. These experiences directly shape his work as a counselor, where he oHers a steady, grounded presence for clients facing life’s complexities. Guided by existential philosophy, Chris focuses on the core aspects of human existence— freedom, responsibility, isolation, and the search for meaning. He integrates these concepts with practical tools to help clients reflect on their lives and live more intentionally.

    Chris approaches his work with humility and deep respect for the trust his clients place in him as they move toward personal growth and clarity. Chris specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and families. He offers telehealth and in-person services in both Ashland and Medford.

  • Is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years experience in direct practice rooted in a commitment to social justice, health equity, and direct service. After completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago’s Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, Kelli built a foundation of clinical practice, supervisor and training experience, and administrative leadership in behavioral health and substance use treatment integration at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Chicago, IL. Kelli moved to the southern Oregon coast in the spring of 2020. In Oregon (as well as in Chicago), Kelli works as a Behavioral Health Consultant in primary care where she provides care for young adults, adults, and families experiencing a broad spectrum of symptoms and stressors that impact their health. 

     She is adept at helping clients to build skills and capacity to manage their lives and relationships through cognitive-behavioral techniques (such as CBT and DBT), mindfulness and acceptance based strategies (including ACT), motivational interviewing, brief solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based approaches. She is trained in trauma-focused therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and she integrates her training as a Certified Yoga Instructor as appropriate.  She has particular interest in trauma, chronic disease management, stress reduction, co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders, group therapy, and the mind-body connection. Her clinical work and personal practices remind Kelli to approach her clients, relationships, and daily experiences with compassion, gratitude, care, and play.  

  • Is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. He was trained at Sofia University where he received a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in creative expression. He worked primarily with children and teenagers in community health and with HeadStart. After graduating in 2013 and briefly working as an associate therapist, Demir wanted to take therapy out of the confines of the therapy office and into as many places as he could. For 11 years, he operated his own business as a whole person running coach, couples coach, life coach, summer camp organizer and facilitator, massage therapist, tai chi and qigong instructor, and mobility and strength trainer. As Demir worked in the world of mind, body, and spirit, the desire to focus on therapy specifically crystallized as his awe and delight of the possibilities of therapeutic change grew ever larger.

    Demir is currently training as a sex therapist via the Institute of Relational Intimacy. He works with couples and has done training in Emotional Focused Therapy for Couples, and is currently doing trainings in ISTDP for Couples and in the Developmental Model. With individuals, Demir draws primarily on Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)- a powerful psychodynamic approach designed to create lasting change. As a pansexual man, Demir is LGBTQ+ friendly and loves to support that population. He only offers telehealth options.

    Demir loves to empower clients to be able to deeply contact and understand themselves in order to be at true choice in every moment in their lives.

  • Is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specialized in school social work (she is also a Licensed School Social Worker) and integrated behavioral health while in her clinically-focused Master’s of Social Work program through Portland State University. Karsten has served young children, adolescents and families in school-based health settings with treatments rooted in mindfulness, creative expression, and evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

    Her therapeutic approach anchors clients in their deepest values, reflects grounded presence as one explores personal or environmental barriers, and supports the development of skills which facilitates inspired and value-driven change.

    Karsten has additional background in mediation, restorative justice and group processes, which helps to guide her solution-focused and collaborative style. She uses research based in human resiliency and trauma-informed practices to inform her gentle confidence in each individual’s own guidance system and ability to pace their therapeutic journey.

    Karsten specializes in children and adolescents, family solution-focused therapy, and those experiencing life transition, anxiety, stress and deep personal inquiry. She is also able to provide clinical supervision for those seeking licensure. Karsten is available for telehealth with some in person offerings.

  • is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in Oregon and California. Caroline is a bilingual therapist (Spanish speaking) with years of experience supporting children and families of diverse identities and backgrounds through client centered play and art based therapies. As an LGBTQIA+ half-Mexican and half-White woman, Caroline has personal and professional experience navigating the positive and negative impacts of diverse identities in day to day life.

    Caroline has developed strong skills for guiding families with young children around establishing routines, expectations, and boundaries that are supportive for parents and kids alike. She has experience supporting people who are neurodivergent, including autism spectrum and ADHD. Caroline also has significant experience working with children and parents who are experiencing symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

    Caroline’s therapy style is best described as playful, humorous, kind, accepting, and hopeful. Interventions and therapy models include Play Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed, Narrative Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy. Sessions with Caroline are likely to include invitations to express thoughts, feelings, or conflicts abstractly through sensory activities (slime, sand trays, essential oils), art activities (making a collage, painting, drawing), or written activities (creating a comic to explore a conflict, writing out a painful story, writing a list of next steps) in addition to the traditional talk therapy model.

    Caroline will be offering in person sessions to all ages, including couples and family services, and will also accept telehealth sessions with adults. Services will begin in Fall 2024 and will be primarily available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with additional openings to be determined in September 2024

  • Lizbeth (Liz) is a dedicated and compassionate professional with a strong foundation in primary care and leadership of almost a decade. With a Bachelor's in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry from Oregon State University-Cascades, as well as being a certified medical assistant. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Liz's career has been deeply influenced by her passion for supporting others, particularly children, Hispanic/Latinx community, individuals struggling with eating disorders, and veterans. She is committed to expanding her clinical knowledge to advocate for these populations and provide high-quality, evidence-based care. Liz is also bilingual, having grown up with Spanish being her first language.
    Liz currently resides in the beautiful Central OR with aspirations to stay and bridge the gaps in mental health care available to underserved populations. She is eager to integrate her clinical knowledge, personal experiences, and leadership skills to advocate for underserved populations to reduce stigma, and provide compassionate, holistic care, with a  CBT base, that addresses both the psychological and emotional needs of clients.
    Additionally, Liz enjoys reading manga on her free time, spending time with her family, and exploring new places to find delicious food.
